Shelby L. Webb is an associate attorney, working primarily in the firm’s litigation and appellate practice groups. She is a licensed attorney in Oregon and Nevada. Shelby took the Universal Bar Exam (UBE) in February 2023 and obtained a score high enough to practice in any of the 41 UBE jurisdictions. Shelby joins the firm after completing a clerkship with the Honorable Justice Ron D. Parraguirre at the Nevada Supreme Court.
Shelby obtained her Juris Doctorate from the Willamette University College of Law, where she received a Pro Bono Honors Award and was inducted into the Order of Barristers, a national honor society limited to graduating law students who demonstrate exceptional skill and trial advocacy, oral advocacy, and brief writing. Shelby earned high papers in several of her law school classes, which denotes the highest grade received in the class, including Cannabis Law and Professional Responsibility.
As a law student, Shelby externed at the Eighth Judicial District Court with Judge Jessica K. Peterson, worked as a Deputy District Attorney Law Clerk in Polk County, Oregon, and was a summer associate at a distinguished boutique law firm in Las Vegas. On campus, Shelby served as an Executive Editor for the Law Review Journal, won first place at the Don Turner Criminal Trial Competition, and was a second-place regional qualifier at the National Appellate Advocacy Competition.
Outside of the courtroom, Shelby enjoys playing with her Italian Greyhounds, Maverick and Moon, skiing, and tending to her houseplant collection.
