Brett Pilling joined the firm after graduating from the University of the Pacific – McGeorge School of Law. During his time at McGeorge, Brett took a number of courses but found an interest in Estate Planning. Some of those specific classes include Wills and Trusts, Estate Gift Tax/Estate Planning, and Federal Income Taxation.
During law school, Brett had the opportunity to serve as a judicial extern for the Honorable Carla Baldwin at the United States District Court for the District of Nevada. In 2021, Brett graduated from McGeorge with Distinction, as a member of the Traynor Honor Society, and was named to the Dean’s Honor List his first and second year.
After finishing law school, Brett was excited to return to his hometown of Reno, Nevada. Brett looks to take his knowledge from the Estate Planning classes he took and expand it to help clients prepare their estates. Brett also has an interest in real property and business-related issues. In his spare time, Brett enjoys spending time with his wife and mini-goldendoodle.
