Born and raised in the Reno-Sparks area, Scott joined the firm in 2014 after several years of practice in San Francisco, California. His areas of practice include general commercial litigation, as well as real estate and construction law.
Scott began his legal career at California’s leading real estate law firm, where he obtained experience as a commercial litigator. Scott also worked at the San Francisco office of one of the nation’s top construction law firms, representing general contractors in contract and payment disputes both domestically and abroad.
During law school, Scott received the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in legal writing, served as an editor of the law journal, and earned awards as a member of the moot court team. Scott also worked as an extern for the Marin County Public Defender, where he represented clients in all phases of criminal proceedings, including misdemeanor hearings and felony trials.
Scott enjoys spending time with his large extended family. He also enjoys hiking, golf, and watching movies and television.
